Angela Subjek
Co-founder | Executive Director
Bio
Angela is the co-founder and Executive Director of Bluff Country Snakes, where she combines more than 20 years of experience as a registered nurse with a lifelong love of animals, education, and community service.
She leads the organization’s community outreach, partnerships, educational programming, fundraising, and long-term vision. Angela is especially passionate about creating welcoming, hands-on experiences that help people move beyond fear and develop curiosity, confidence, and respect for snakes and other misunderstood animals.
For Angela, Bluff Country Snakes is about more than reptiles—it is about bringing people together, making education accessible, and using knowledge to dilute fear and create wonder.
